Nest Chair

Designed by Rick Lee, the sculptural Nest chair was born out of inspiration from the simple beauty found in a bird’s nest. The chair’s fluid, metallic surface mimics the branch pattern of a bird’s nest and seems to melt or drape over an invisible form. This circular, lattice-like shell gives the chair its form and provides cozy, ergonomic lounging comfort. The Nest chair is realized by fusing ancient methods with cutting-edge technology. A full-scale 3-D model is printed to make a mold followed by a lost-wax casting in stainless steel. It’s the ultimate process for precision and quality. Each chair is then hand finished in a number of metal finishes, including polished stainless steel, gold or any TC  powder coat finish.
